It's time to drive your car!

What better way to end the year than driving your car through the beautiful Salinas Valley & Monterey Peninsula and ending the evening watching some good ol American drag racing movies!

We will be meeting at Park Row Salinas at 9am, departing to some very cool locations at 10am and arrive at 4pm at the Fox Theatre in Salinas to enjoy some great drag racing movies, hord d'oeuvres, cocktails, memorabilia, raffles and great history for only $15!

Shoot The Loop 2009

Welcome to the official Deadend Magazine Blog!

Here we will keep you up to date on everything Deadend!

We'd like to start off with a preview of a small/exclusive event going down in the Salinas Valley/Monterey Peninsula for the first time today. For the first time the Payasos Car Club is holding a reliability/movie night, called Shoot The Loop.

Shoot the Loop will begin as a reliabilty run from Salinas California through historic highway 68, through Carmel Valley Rd, through Arroyo Seco Rd and ending at the Lazzerini Ranch where old drag racing footage will be on display.... The invited guests are mostly older former drag racers and car guys from the surrounding areas.

Here are some photographs of the Lazzerini Ranch as it is getting prepared for all of the guests!
